Modern Public Security Hospital

The Modern Public Security Hospital Project in Vientiane Capital is a flagship health sector investment initiated by the Ministry of Defense, with funding from Korea Eximbank. It aims to establish a high-capacity medical facility serving both military personnel and the public. Recognizing the growing burden of non-communicable diseases and the inadequacy of existing hospitals, this project will provide specialized diagnostics, emergency services, and chronic disease management. Connected Consultant Sole Co., Ltd. conducted the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), covering issues such as hospital waste management, utility consumption, site accessibility, and community health impact. The ESIA also evaluated land-use compatibility and public health implications during construction and operation. Once completed, the hospital will significantly enhance healthcare delivery and reduce the reliance on cross-border medical services in Thailand and Vietnam.
